What a long journey(VIVEK STYLE)!!!

This is all about my travel throught south india for the past one week. I ll start everything from my office in hyderabad. Most of you know that i completed ny training in hyderabad and was posted in mangalore. This post is all about my travel these 7 days. I started my journey at around 4 pm from office (hyd) on 13.09.06 (wednesday). I reached my house within 5 min as it is near to my office. I had booked a call taxi to drop me in Mahathma Gandhi Bus Station(MGBS). Myself and my dearest friend Anand Gupta(atleast he was there to help me out with my luggage) got into it and reached at around 6.15. The bus started exactly at 7pm. This was the beginning. From then on my journey still continues. The bus which was supposed to reach bangalore the next day morning at around 4.30am reached at around 7am thanks to the heavy rains that made our driver to stop at some point for about 30 min. he even asked to himself a question(Where i am going).Bcos the road was not at all visible. Thanks to the heavy traffic in bangalore(as usual), we left for mangalore in the same bus. It was around 10.30 am that we stopped for breakfast+lunch near Hassan enroute to Mangalore. The next 5 hours was the best time i had in that entire trip. We had to cross the western ghats to reach mangalore. Even though the road was damaged due to heavy rains over the past few months, what made the journey more interesting was the climate which was obviously chill and it was constantly raining. We reached a place called shakleshpur which is famous for its coffee estates. even TATA has an estate here. I happened to pass thru a place in the peaks which had an interesting board which read

area with a average rainfall of 4500mm per year.

Then i happened to wittness a river from its initial waterfall stage to the place where it reaches sea. this is the nethravathi river. it had heavy inflow from nearly 100s of tributeries. I reached mangalore at around 5 in the evening. wondering wat this person was doing all these time(22 hours) in the same bus?. I watched 3 movies. the very first one was on the previous night at around 8 to 11 a telugu movie called(anthanokate). sorry if i had spelled wrongly. then the next movie was on thursday morning (Shaadhi se pehle) hindi comedy. then followed by student number 1(not in tamil, it was in telugu). then i took an auto and reached my company's guest house where i ahd dinner as soon as possible and slept the entire night peacefuly. Friday morning was my first day in mangala(my mangalore office). i booked a sleeper non a/c bus to bangalore on friday and left to bangalore at 11.30 in some travels bus. the journey was the same in opposite direction. i reached bangalore the next day at around 7 am and went to my uncle's house. after having nice food for 2 days i opted for a government volvo(AIRAVAT) from bangalore back to mangalore. The bus started at around 9 pm from bangalore and after 2 hours of travel only i realised that the route to mangalore was different now. the bus went via coorg and madekeri(Try and find out about this place. interesting facts on its weather). This was another nice journey back to mangalore and now as i reached today 18.09.06(monday) to office i write this post. dont ever think that my travel is over by now. i am starting to my home town of chennai tomo at around 9 pm. that is another long journey by train for around 20 hrs. via kerala coimbatore and then to chennai. reaching next day evening only. I ll be covering all 4 states in this 1 week's time. hyd(A.P) Bangalore and Mangalore(KA) Palakkad calicut(KL) and coimbatore and chennai(TN). I am tired of this travel and also this typing. So i stop here.
